I know you guys can’t stand Consumer Reports, however their automotive team is a bunch of enthusiasts who understand that “quirks” are not “personality traits.” I’m glad they are seeing that the Model X is a treatise on having the engineering follow the marketing. Not in the late 90's way you’re thinking of right now, but that old American 50's sense! Yes the Model X is cool, but it’s like saying you’re going camping and pulling up in this:
Awesome, but can you really call this camping?
Can you really call the Model X a car, or is it the start of a new vehicle class? Is the Model X a literal “mobile device?” Should we prepare to separate future vehicles into automobiles and mobile devices ?

Not only would I consider that vehicle camping, it’s really the only sort of camping I’m ok with.
